Air Canada's rather handy Self-Tagging option, which allows you to print and attach your own baggage tags and then simply deposit your bags at the Baggage Drop-off counter is available at: Montreal, Toronto Pearson, Vancouver, Paris Charles de Gaulle and London Heathrow.

If you have already completed a Web or Mobile check-in: At the Self-Service kiosk, enter your booking reference, or scan the bar code you received following your Web or Mobile Check-in; Then press 'Reprint' and follow the on-screen instructions to print your baggage tag(s), receipt and boarding pass. Fix the lables and go to baggage drop off. If you are checking in at the Self Service Check-In Kiosk: Follow your nose, basically.

Then proceed to the kitchen to cook your own meal and all passengers on each flight then get together in a huddle and decided who is going to drive the 'plane, wash the dishes etc.

Check-in is available within the 24-hour period prior to departure of all your flights; and at least 30 minutes prior to departure for flights within Canada, at least 1 hour prior to departure for flights between Canada and the USA, at least 1 hour prior to departure for flights between Canada and other countries and if you have a connecting flight, up to 24 hours prior to departure time of your final connecting flight

Web Check-in at aircanada.com is offered for passengers flying on Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz flights only (flights operated by other airlines are not eligible) For connecting flights: your first flight must be operated by Air Canada or Air Canada Jazz ad with or without baggage. You must check in through an agent at the Air Canada check-in counter if your reservation contains a special request such as wheelchair, medical assistance or unaccompanied minor assistance.

The Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service is available only on non-stop flights operated by Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz and Tier 3 flights Central Mountain Air (CMA) - Flight series 7200-7300 Air Georgian (GX) - Flight series 7350-7499 Exploits Valley Air (8K) - Flight series 7615-7649. The UM service is not available for connecting flights or code-share flights. Important information for passengers flying on

Under age 8
Children under 8 years of age are not eligible for the Unaccompanied Minor Service and must always be accompanied by an adult aged 16 or older when travelling. The accompanying adult must occupy a seat in the same cabin as the young child.

8 to 11 years
The Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service is mandatory for children between the ages of 8 and 11 (inclusively) who are travelling alone. Please note that youths age 16 and over may act as accompanying adults for minors (age 11 years or less).

12 to 17 years
The Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service is available, but is considered optional, for children between the ages of 12 and 17 who are travelling alone. Please note, however, that if a parent or guardian requests the UM service for a child between these ages, the same restrictions will apply with regard to connecting and code-share flights, as described above. Please note that youths age 16 and over may act as accompanying adults for minors (age 11 years or less).

Service Fee
UM service is available on all fares. A service fee of $100 CAD/USD each way per child per flight applies.
