International Longhaul - American offers three classes of service on its longhaul International Flagship Service flights operated with 777 aircraft, including flat beds in First Class. Lie-flat seats in Business Class will be introduced starting in 2007. Other International - On other international flights, American offers 2-class service on 767-300, 757, 737, and A300 aircraft. 767-300 aircraft offer two classes of service - Business Class, with a 60 inch seat pitch, and Main Cabin (Coach). Lie-flat Business Class seats are being introduced on 767-300 aircraft starting late 2006. 757, 737 and A300 aircraft offer two classes of service - Business Class and Main Cabin. Domestic U.S.A. - American Airlines domestic flights offer First Class and Main Cabin. American Eagle and AmericanConnection flights offer a single class of service. American offers complimentary meals in First Class on most U.S. domestic flights, and food-for-sale in the Main Cabin on American and American Eagle. Some transcontinental flights are flown with 767-200 aircraft with three classes of service.
American has anti-trust immunity with Finnair and LAN Airlines and its LAN Peru regional affiliate, and a wide-ranging commercial agreement with Qantas. It code-shares with every one of its oneworld partners, as well as future oneworld partner Japan Airlines, and has signed code-share agreements with Malév Hungarian Airlines and Royal Jordanian Airlines.

BA Connect: A wholly-owned subsidiary of British Airways - although the group announced in October 2006 it was selling the operation, which will reult in it leaving oneworld. BA Connect operates in the mainline carrier's colours, using the BA flight prefix. BMED: Now sold to British Midland (BMI) a Star Alliance Carrier. Comair: British Airways' Southern African franchisee, operating services with a BA flight prefix, with aircraft painted in BA colours and with crew wearing BA uniforms. It provides Club and Traveller (business and economy class) services to BA standards. British Airways itself owns an 18.3 per cent stake in Comair. It operates around 50 flights a day, using mainly Boeing 737s, serving Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth in South Africa and four points in neighbouring Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
GB Airways: An independent carrier, wholly owned by the Bland Group. It flies as a franchisee of British Airways. Its services all operate with a BA flight prefix, its aircraft are painted in BA colours and its crew wear BA uniform. They offer Club Europe and Euro Traveller (business and economy class) services to BA standards. It operates around 30 departures a day with a fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft from London Gatwick and Heathrow and Manchester to 29 destinations in the Iberian Peninsula, France, North Africa, the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean.
Loganair: A privately-owned airline operating as a franchisee of British Airways within Scotland and to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. It flies a fleet of mainly Saab 340's, turboprops, carrying almost half a million passengers last year. Sun-Air: A privately-owned Danish airline, which flies as a British Airways franchisee, with a BA flight prefix, aircraft painted in BA colours and crew wearing BA uniforms. It operates around 30 flights a day from Denmark (Billund, Aarhus and Aalborg) to other points in Scandinavia, Finland, Belguim, Germany and the UK, using a fleet of Dornier 328's and ATP's mainly. It boarded some 200,000 passengers last year.
One of the most highly regarded Asian airlines. Based in Hong Kong, it offers more than 175 departures a day to some 45 destinations in approaching 30 countries. It carried 15.5 million passengers last year. Established in 1946, Cathay Pacific's major shareholders are Hong Kong conglomerate Swire Pacific Group (with a 40 per cent stake), Beijing-based CITIC Pacific (holding 17.5 per cent, Air China (10 per cent) and China National Aviation Co Ltd (7.5 per cent). A regular winner of awards for customer service, it was named Airline of the Year 2006 by Air Transport World, OAG and (jointly) the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation.

The Spanish flag carrier offers more than a thousand departures a day to 105 cities in more than 40 countries, with main hubs in Madrid and Barcelona. With its regional affiliate, it operates one of the most modern fleets in Europe, currently numbering more than 200 aircraft. In recent years, Iberia has become one of Europe's most consistently profitable airlines. It achieved net profits of EUR395 million for 2005 - its tenth year running in the black.
Travel Classes Iberia offers a two-class product on its longhaul flights - Business Plus, complete with lie-flat beds and Tourist. On European and domestic flights it offers a two-class service - Business and Tourist. Passengers flying in Iberia's Economy Class on domestic and European flights to pay for any in-flight catering, with a "pay-as-you-go, a la carte menu" offering wider choice while reducing costs which the airline can pass on to its customers by offering great value fares.

LAN is the Latin American airline alliance that includes oneworld member LAN Airlines and its affiliates LAN Express, which operates domestic services with Chile, and LAN Peru. The other LAN members LAN Argentina and LAN Ecuador will join oneworld as affiliate members as early as possible in 2007. LAN Airlines (formerly LanChile), which joined the alliance in June 2000, is widely regarded as Latin America's leading airline.
